Gratuity collects no data. None. There is no account, no login, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking of any kind.
Your settings (theme, default tip and split) and your bill history are stored only on your device, in local app storage. Bill history is shared with the Home Screen widget through Apple's App Group mechanism, which also never leaves your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
The optional Gratuity Pro upgrade is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
The app makes no network requests of its own. Its only communication is with Apple's StoreKit for the Pro purchase and restore.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Since the app collects nothing, changes are unlikely.
